(04.01.13) Michelle Pritchard is Appointed as The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma City Unit Director

The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command is pleased to announce that Michelle Pritchard has been appointed The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma City Unit Director.

Michelle grew up in Shawnee, OK, and received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 2002, and is a Graduate of Leadership Shawnee.  She previously was employed for more than seven years as the Youth and Family Resource Center Assistant Executive Director in Shawnee, and as a Counselor for juveniles on probation, helping youth develop skills to build a positive future.

“I was looking for a new opportunity and the position at The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club seemed like the perfect way for me to continue working with youth but also allowed me the opportunity to work on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.  The staff has been amazing and our Club Members are such a joy. I am eager to be a part of the Club’s future and to increase our positive impact in the community,” said Pritchard.

Michelle is married to Mark Pritchard, the Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officer for the Army National Guard.  She enjoys spending time with her family, and running.  She hopes to run a marathon in the future.  Michelle has attended several trainings, including ‘Within My Reach’ and ‘Finding Words’, and has also been trained as a Grievance Coordinator and Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist.
